Anaphylactoid Purpura otherswise known as the Henoch-Schonlein purpura or HSP is a medical condition that refers to the inflammation of the blood vessels or the vasculitis.
Symptoms & Signs
Symptoms includes pain in the abdomen, inflammation of the joints of occurrence of arthritis, occurrence of rashes & lesions & kidney complications.
Treatment: How to Treat "Anaphylactoid Purpura"?
Treatment includes administration of anti- inflammatory drugs to alleviate pain such as aspirin, cortisone medication & cuclosphosphamide or Cytoxan.
Anaphylactoid purpura is is said to be caused by an infection either from a virus or a bacteria & drugs.
Diagnosis is made through urinalyis, blood tests & biopsy of the skin.
